The November witnessed the highest monthly power generation this year, which was 17.907GWh with the top monthly achieving rate of 104.37% since its commercial operation.
From 26th of Oct to 25th of Nov., total DNI 217.23KWh/m2, the plant practically generated 17.907GWh on the basis of its theoretical designed capacity with 17.157GWh, achieving 104.27%. Total 16.597GWh was connected to grid, the cumulative generation with 618.32 hours. Except for 2 days in cloudy, actual operating 29 days, 23 days among it reaching 100% capacity.
SUPCON SOLAR Delingha 50MW CSP Plant is of a designed monthly average power generation at 12.167 GWh, and the actual power generation in November significantly exceeds the designed value. The annual efficiency of tower CSP is relatively stable, given that the winter is with more sunny days, therefore the monthly power generation of the plant in winter often exceeds the annual monthly average, which can effectively supplement the insufficient hydropower output during the dry season in winter.
SUPCON SOLAR Delingha 50MW Molten Salt Tower CSP Plant, one of China’s CSP Demonstration projects, is installed with a 7-hour molten salt storage system and designed to generate 146GWh electricity annually. The project is designed and constructed based on Cosin Solar’s fully patented technologies, over 95% equipment are domestically sourced.
